Maplewood Management is an up and coming commercial property management company based in St. Charles, IL. Founded in the early spring of 2026, Maplewood was starting from scratch with their digital presence and branding efforts. The company wanted to hit the ground running with their first website, including the content and branding elements that go along with it. Maplewood partnered with N2 Solutions for the buildout to ensure that they made a great first impression in the digital space.
Process Overview
Brand Package
Maplewood was starting from zero for their branding element; even a company logo had not been fully defined. N2's first step was to solidify the company's visual identity, from logos and fonts to colors and symbols.
Sitemaps and Wireframes
The sitemapping phase helps us understand how users will navigate the site, defining the context of each page and how they interact with each other. With a sitemap in place, each page was then wireframed to streamline the design and content writing process.
Service Content
Our team worked with Maplewood to consolidate service information into written content. It was important to define Maplewood's service process, building management offerings and the kinds of clients they served.
Final Design
The final website buildout was a breeze thanks to thoughtful design and content preparation. Preplanning allowed us to focus on integrating the site's functional elements, such as a contact form, into Maplewood's workflows.
The Problem
Maplewood needed to carve out its own corner of the internet with its first website. An informal list of services and some logo ideas were all the N2 Solutions team had to work off of going into the project.
Branding: Company colors, fonts and visual elements did not exist.
Content: Nearly all of Service content had to be consolidated.
Functionality: How specifically the site would operate within Maplewood’s work needed to be considered.
Scalability: There was no long-term plan for the site for future services and SEO considerations.

Brand Package
Our goal for Maplewood's branding package was to create an inviting look for the company that immediately communicates professionalism and trust. The best property managers help their clients find peace of mind, and it was a fun challenge to help Maplewood communicate that with their visuals.
Logo & Identity
Maplewood's new logo is bold and professional, with an off-white font color that stands out perfectly against the site's brown background. The unique copper symbol to the left evokes a maple leaf behind a small house; a new start for property management needs.
Typography
The Futura PT font family is easy to read with enough visual flair to help content stand out from other sites. Font colors shift between white, off-white, teal and dark brown depending on the page.

Colors
We choose to lead Maplewood's color palette with warm brown and beige tones, which were complimented by orange, green and teal highlights as needed. For the industry pages, each industry page was assigned an associated color to define them further.

Wireframes
We use wireframes to lay pages out before ever touching the build. We consider what content, visual elements and functionality we'll need for each page, saving time and eliminating surprises. With a sitemap in place, each page was wireframed to streamline the design and content writing process.
Design Elements
Industries Served Pages
Five "industries served" pages were added to the site for SEO value and to show off Maplewood's versatility as a property manager. Each page covers the unique needs of properties in specific industries, accessible from a dynamic homepage menu.
How We Can Help Graphic
We designed a unique set of "card" graphics for each of Maplewood's core services. Potential customers can immediately understand Maplewood's value proposition, and reach out for quotes with ease thanks to nearby buttons.
Contact Form
A simple contact form incentivizes customers to drop Maplewood a quick line about their property management needs. It's best practice to place contact forms at the bottom of a page to capture users who have scrolled through all of the content.
Conclusion
Maplewood's first website needed to be concise, functional and a visual standout. The project was a great example of how even a small first website build can require a large branding, content and design lift. With new branding elements, content and a robust intake pipeline for new leads, Maplewood is well equipped to expand its client pool.
